Alina Timofeeva has an unusual story.
She was raised in post-Soviet Russia by her grandmother to be a housewife.
And whilst she started her career a decade ago mopping floors in McDonald's Russia, she had a very successful journey in UK Technology Consulting, having grown from a graduate analyst at Accenture to a senior manager at KPMG within the space of 6 years.
Last year she was recognised by 2 awards in UK Technology as one of the future women leaders in the industry. Her name is on the Makers’ Top 50 Software Powerlist and ComputerWeekly’s Most Influential Women in UK Technology (longlist).
In her personal life she got engaged then married and lost 16 kg - all of this during COVID, what was for most a very challenging time but showing the same determination in her personal life as her professional career.
Alina is keen that her journey sets up other women up for success, through motivating them to deliver exceptional performance. She is an active mentor at KPMG and wider global networks (e.g. Cajigo, Like Minded Females), supporting women of diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
